Custom Window Treatments for Lacey Homes
In-home samples, measuring, design guidance, and professional installation
Window Fashions Northwest helps Lacey homeowners compare custom blinds, shades, drapery, shutters, and motorized treatments in the rooms where they will actually be used. We bring samples to your home so you can judge privacy, light filtering, color, texture, and operation before anything is ordered.
Pick the Treatment for the Problem You Actually Have
A bedroom that needs to stay dark in the morning is a different project from a living room that gets blasted with afternoon sun. A home office with screen glare is different again. Treating all three windows the same just because they are in the same house usually creates a compromise nobody asked for.
For a Lacey home, I like to separate those problems first. Is privacy the issue? Too much brightness? A treatment that is hard to reach? A room that still feels unfinished? Once that is clear, the product choices get much easier.
Roller and cellular shades are often good, straightforward answers. Roman and woven shades bring more texture. Blinds and shutters give you adjustable control. Drapery can soften the room or provide the second layer you need at night. There is no prize for using the same thing everywhere.
Operation matters more than people expect. A shade behind a sectional, over a tall stair landing, or spread across several windows may be a good candidate for motorization. A normal bedroom window might not be. The right setup is the one you will actually use.
We also pay attention to the boring details because they are the details that ruin an installation when nobody checks them. Window depth, handles, trim, furniture, and wall space can all change where a treatment needs to sit.
By the time we measure, you should already know what the material looks like in that room and whether it gives you enough privacy and light control. The measuring comes after the decision, not before it.
